Washington wants UN Security Council to consider new missile launches in North Korea
The US plans to raise the issue of new missile launches by North Korea in the UN Security Council, head of the press service of the US Department of State, John Kirby said on Tuesday.
According to him, the US intends to express its concern to the United Nations and to strengthen international determination to bring North Korea to responsibility for these provocative actions.
He said that Washington strongly condemns today's and other recent missile tests in North Korea.
From the point of view of the US administration, these actions violate UN Security Council resolutions that prohibit North Korean launches with the use of ballistic missile technology.
